Hitting the gym after so long. My favorite machine that trains the thighs. The treadmill was like the most enticing machine of all. I know I wasn’t supposed to run but after brisk walking on it for 5 mins, I couldn’t resist just striding 2.4km. :x And my legs totally reflect my chor lor and klutzy self. Past and present injuries. The left side of the shin was the result of the fall in the forest trail after my right ankle was yanked by something uneven and both my legs gave way. Found myself on the ground in pain the next moment while I was 2.5km into the forest trail. In the end, I just ran all the way out cos I didn’t like the idea of walking alone in there. And despite the injury, I ran faster than I usually did. I guess this is something that fear can achieve, fear over pain. The pain wasn’t that unbearable until that night itself I had difficulty walking.

Immersing my injured ankle in a pail of ice water. Hopefully it gets well fast. When doctor said not to run for a week, my eyes widen with “Are you f-king kidding me?” This is the first time since December that I’ve stopped training for more than 3 days. Already prepping my body for more intensive runs and this has to happen. Tsk.
